To my buddy and co-worker Roger Schumacher,..with deepest condolences to his family! Roger and I worked together at City Hall for the City Clerk of Chicago for 16 years, and in all that time there were few dull moments. His humorous side and my goofy side sometimes clashed, but mostly we shared more laughs and digs at one another than two people at their workplace ever should. He made coming to work a true pleasure,..even on some dismal Mondays ! Spending many a Saturday here at City Hall during our hectic summer months, we grew to respect each other's working habits and trusted one another to get our office's work accomplished in a timely fashion. I will miss him as a co-worker and a buddy,.....rest in peace Rog.......signed the Walrus (his nick-name for me)...lol !!!
