Madelyn Calabrese (nee Carazzo) age 97 of Wheeling. Beloved wife of the late John Calabrese. Loving mother of Jean (late Thomas) Graf, James (Joan) Calabrese, Noreen (David) Hoffman, Marian Colletti, Janet (Franco) Mule and the late Marsha (late Roger) Andersen. Dear grandma of Natale, Jeff, Jennifer, Michelle (John), Michael (Abby), Margaret (Dan), Dawn, Eric (Christy), Greg (Jenna), John (Margaret), Matthew (Janet), Vincent (Krista), Clayton (Denyelle), Frank (Kattie), John (Missy), and Christina. Great grandma of 40. Great great grandma of five. Fond sister of Margaret (late Larry) Rank and the late Phyllis Carazzo and Jean (late Sam) Cortese, and Ralph Carazzo. Aunt, cousin and friend of many. She worked as “The Lunchroom Lady” at Walt Whitman School for over 30 years. Visitation Thursday 3-8 pm at Kolssak Funeral Home, 189 S. Milwaukee Ave. (2 Blocks South of Dundee Road) Wheeling. Funeral Prayers Friday 10:00 am and then process to St. Joseph the Worker Catholic Church for a 10:30 am Life Celebration Mass.
