I must have met Danny sometime back in the 60's at a Speed Skating meet in the Chicago area. A few years older than me, we were able to compete against each other at the "Senior" (18 years or older) and enjoyed a tremendous time together in the 80's and 90's. His humor and infectious laugh were just that - infectious. He brought a laugh and smile to all he touched. RIP my friend, see you on the starting line at the next meet. You were a Gold Medal winner in my book. Dick Martin

I was blessed to be able to know Danny over the years that Michelle and Chris have been together and in that time, be a recipient and witness of his love and kindness towards friends, family, and strangers alike. He was a man whose spirit was never broken and whose enthusiasm for life was inspiring and infectious. His place as patriarch of the family was evident and the imprint he left on those who got to know him is deep. I am so grateful to have had the priviledge of being one of those people and my heart is with the family at this time. I celebrate his earthly presence and his souls lasting impact on the beautiful family he so warmly nurtured. My love and prayers are with you all, always.
